Bennett Barn A beautiful, rustic real barn where we have weddings, reunions, homecomings, picnics, hoe-downs and This is a true picture of rustic meets refined!!

We never started out to start a "Wedding in the Barn Business". My daughter called us from Washington State where she goes to school and said she was coming home to get married in the barn! After we fainted, we got busy cleaning up and patching up the old barn. There were quite a few critters and their leavings and some old equipment upstairs along with old, leftover hay, bus seats and everything

else we didn't want to touch. On top of that, there were no stairs, holes in the roof, holes in the floor, holes in the wall, no electricity and seemingly little time as well! As it turns out, my husband can work miracles and all things turned out fine. The electricity was turned on 3 days before the wedding, the railing on the stairs was completed the day before, a sink was installed onto the back of the barn, some doors were fixed and all the posts in the downstairs were re-enforced for any dancing and moving that may take place upstairs. What a beautiful wedding we had, even with rain trickling in through the unfixed roof during the ceremony to land mostly on my husband's head (that was back then, the Amish have since come and given us a new roof!). The barn has become a labor of love and others have fallen in love with it as well. We've made a lot of improvements and there are a lot more to make! The barn does not look like much from outside, but the true magic happens when you reach the top step and look down the massive "cathedral"!! You will be amazed, just as we are every time we climb the stairs!

🔥 ❤ You can look at as many places or venues as you want, but I will guarantee nothing will ever beat The Bennett Barn. The barn itself is a selling point with the rustic look and true barn feeling, but the true selling point is the owners Anita and Duane. Any venue can say that “this is your special day”, but these two, and their team truly mean and deliver it. Not only do you feel like you are at home with them, but you feel like part of their family. Not a single venue can ever provide you the care that they have for their guests. I could not say enough nice things about these two and how much better our experience was because of them.
But, when it comes down to smoothness and ease with the event, the Bennett Barn makes, not only the day, but the process effortless. They truly take so much stress off your plate with quickness of response and how much they are willing to help and work with you.
I will go to my grave saying that you made the wrong decision not choosing the Bennett Barn. And if you do choose the Bennett Barn, you will never regret the choice. The Bennett Barn is the place to go. ❤🔥

We had a tornado touch down on Saturday at our next door neighbors house. We had a lot of rotation here too judging by the debris all around the house and barn. Unfortunately, we lost a tree that we are hoping to stand back up and branches and the tops from other trees and bushes. Our neighbors have way more trees down than we do but their houses and barns are untouched. A neighbor a mile away terribly lost his roof and barn but is fortunately unhurt physically. We are having another storm now. Take care and take cover!!

Please park at Farm & Fleet (1400 W Main St, Watertown).
Use our free shuttle, which runs from 9:30-3, to get to The Barn Bash, located at the Bennett Barn!

Any sales at the event will be in cash. Please come out to support the Yaresh family!
