No wedding day is complete without a little prep, and that’s why we always come prepared with our emergency kit packed and ready for anything! Here are 5 things we NEVER forget:

1️⃣ Cake Knife & Server – Because cutting the cake is a moment you don’t want to miss. 🍰
2️⃣ Fishing Line – Perfect for securing delicate decorations or fixing anything that needs a little extra support. 🪡
3️⃣ Museum Wax – We love using this for candles and decor to make sure they stay in place without causing any damage. 🕯️

✨ A Wedding Close to My Heart ✨

This one is extra special to me. 💖 Meredith and Chris’s wedding took place at —the very venue where I said "I do" just the weekend before. Talk about full-circle moments! 🥰

I’m so proud of my amazing elite employee✨, Katie, who took the reins as the lead planner and coordinator for this event with her husband, Keegan, by her side as the best assistant! 💪 Katie absolutely crushed it, bringing her attention to detail, calming presence, and incredible planning skills to make this day seamless from start to finish.

The love between Meredith and Chris was so clear, and the day was a true reflection of their personalities—elegant, fun, and full of joy. From their emotional ceremony to heartfelt speeches and dancing the night away, everything went off without a hitch.

It’s moments like these that remind me how lucky I am to work with such amazing couples and an even more amazing team. Cheers to Meredith and Chris! 🥂

You’ve planned every detail—now let’s make sure your wedding morning is as stress-free as possible. 😌 Here are my top tips:

1️⃣ Pack an Emergency Kit: Bandaids, safety pins, fashion tape, Advil, breath mints—you’ll thank me later.

2️⃣ Eat a Real Breakfast: Nerves = forgetting to eat. But trust me, no one wants to be hangry (or fainty) during vows.

3️⃣ Keep the Room Calm: Limit the number of people in your getting-ready space. Too many voices = too much chaos. Play your favorite playlist and set the vibe. 🎶

4️⃣ Assign a ‘Go-To’ Person: Designate a bridesmaid, friend, or your coordinator (hi! 👋) to handle questions so you can focus on YOU.

Bonus Tip: Take 5 minutes alone before walking down the aisle. Deep breaths, soak it in. This is YOUR moment. ❤️

Picking a venue can feel like a lot—but don’t stress, I’ve got you covered. Here are 5 things to think about before signing on the dotted line:

1️⃣ Budget-Friendly: I know that dreamy mountaintop venue with a glass dome is calling your name, but make sure it fits your budget first. Don’t forget to factor in sneaky extras like service fees, rentals, and insurance. (Yes, even that one random fee no one tells you about. IYKYK.)

2️⃣ Location Vibes: Is it easy for your guests to get there? Will they need to book hotels, rent cars, or take a ferry named The S.S. Wedding Stress? Keep it convenient, especially if you’ve got out-of-town folks.

3️⃣ Guest Capacity: You don’t want your 200 guests squeezed into a space made for 75—or have 50 guests floating around a ballroom that feels like an empty Costco. The right fit makes all the difference!

4️⃣ Aesthetic & Vibe: Whether you’re dreaming of moody industrial chic, rustic barns, or a magical garden that looks like a fairy sneezed glitter everywhere, make sure the space matches your vibe. Bonus: Less decorating needed when the venue already looks amazing. ✨

For months I’ve been wanting to add on a new service and started to notice I wasn’t capturing all the videos or BTS footage of couple’s wedding days that I wanted to while coordinating or planning their weddings. I want our main focus to be coordinating and making sure things go as smoothly as possible over capturing content. Heck, most days I can’t even take my phone out of my pocket much less capture speeches or first dances!
