They exchanged their vows in one of our favorite ceremony spots, the North Gardens. Then the whole party made their way over to Coast which provided the perfect backdrop for their celebration. 🌿💍✨

Looking to learn some Milwaukee history today? Milwaukee’s iconic Mitchell Park Domes have a rich history that’s been blooming for over 120 years! 🌸✨

It all started when Mitchell Park joined Milwaukee’s early park system in 1890. The park quickly became a vibrant oasis of greenery that once included a lily pond, that was used as a boating lake! 🪷🚣 As the park became a hot spot for enjoying the splendors of nature- it became inspiration for the city to add a grand glass conservatory in 1898 for visitors. 🌷🌳

But as the years went by, the popularity of the old conservatory waned, and by the 1940s and 1950s, it was clear that it was time for a fresh start. So, out with the old and in with the new!

As we fast forward to 1955, Milwaukee architect Donald L. Grieb began his work on the iconic beehive-shaped conoidal glass domes that we see today! 🐝✨ Construction kicked off in 1959 and, after a lot of hard work, the Domes were unveiled in 1967 at a cost of $4.5 million, unreal!

While the original structure still stands, in 2013 the Domes got a fabulous upgrade with a set of new greenhouses next door. These greenhouses aren’t just for show—six grow plants for the Domes, and the seventh…drum roll please… 🥁 became our fabulous GreenHouse No7! ⭐️🌿

History is not just a collection of old stories and structures; it enriches our world by connecting us to the people and events that shaped our present.

As we celebrate and preserve these landmarks, we honor the legacy that continues to inspire and inform our journey forward. The Domes remind us of how vital it is to cherish and learn from our past as we build a vibrant future. 📖💫

Our menu featured a delightful selection of hors d’oeuvres, including Cucumber Cups filled with hummus and sun-dried tomato tapenade, and our indulgent Steakhouse Croustade with caramelized onions, thinly sliced steak, and garlic herb cheese—perfect for a quick bite! 🥒🍅🥩🧀

We also showcased our top-selling Haystack Salad, a vibrant mix of greens, dried tart cranberries, rich feta, and sweet potato hay, drizzled with a mouth-watering cranberry vinaigrette, served with a golden buttery sweet bun!🥗🍞🥬🥔
