During my childhood, my mother used to prepare homemade bread. Whenever there was some leftover dough, she would roll it out and place it on a baking sheet, adding olive oil, garlic, oregano, tomatoes, cheese, and anchovies - which happened to be my dad's favorite. The delightful scent of freshly baked pizza would then fill our kitchen. This memorable experience took place in 1951, six years before any pizza restaurant existed in Waukesha. It was during that time that my passion for making pizza was born. Throughout the years, I have continued the tradition of making pizza for my family and friends every Friday night.
