In the heart of Waukomis, you’ll find Buffalo Point Retreat Center, the perfect lodging destination located less than 20 minutes from both Integris Bass Baptist Health Center and Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center.

Buffalo Point offers a variety of lodging options, from our large Pioneer House, to our more intimate Land Run Suite, which both include full kitchen and dining areas. We also host the Chisholm Trail Room, which is a loft apartment, located closest to our luxurious pool area.

Buffalo Point was initially constructed as a private home for the owners, Mo and Richard Anderson, who were both born and raised in Waukomis. Ground broke in 2011 and additions like the barn, vineyard, pool and spa were added though out the next ten years. The Andersons enjoyed the home but eventually wanted to share the property with others as a way to give back to the town they loved. The Andersons cultivated a slice of secluded serenity while also providing a space for greater community connection.

Today, Buffalo Point is a beautiful retreat for the general public to come together, celebrate life milestones or enjoy some quality time.
