Buffalo Point was initially constructed as a private home for the owners, Mo and Richard Anderson, who were both born and raised in Waukomis. Ground broke in 2011 and additions like the barn, vineyard, pool and spa were added though out the next ten years. The Andersons enjoyed the home but eventually wanted to share the property with others as a way to give back to the town they loved. The Andersons cultivated a slice of secluded serenity while also providing a space for greater community connection.
Today, Buffalo Point is a beautiful retreat for the general public to come together, celebrate life milestones or enjoy some quality time.

An expansive family-style unit, the Pioneer House is a two floor plan with 4 guest rooms total and a lounge stocked with games. This unit fits larger groups comfortably with both communal spaces and private rooms with bathrooms. The gourmet kitchen is completely outfitted for those amazing dinners around our large dining table. You can also utilize our courtyard that features a large fire pit, outdoor grill and dining space, plenty of outdoor seating and a relaxing pool and spa with entertainment.

This suite includes two guest rooms: the Sooner Room and Boomer Room. Each guest room includes a king bed, desk and chair, and an ensuite bathroom with shower. The living room is extra cozy with comfortable seating and a full height fireplace. The kitchen is equipped with state-of-the-art appliances, quality dishware and a large pantry that can be custom-provisioned upon arrival.
