National Magic Week

October 25-31 2023

The Magic Corner, Birch Theater and the Vanishing Magic Museum 113 S. Fulton
St. Wauseon will be observing National Magic Week once again this year, along
with the Society of American Magicians.

Harry Houdini was among the founding
members and one of its first presidents.
This week has been set aside to honor the memory of Harry Houdini who died on
October 31, 1926. As he was dying he told his wife Bess that if anyone could
come back from the dead he would and on October 31st.

To this day there will be
Séances held around the country on the night of October 31 trying to contact him.
None have succeeded as yet.

While the events of the week at the Magic Corner will not be including a Séance
there will be something special each day you will not want to miss. Below is a list
of the daily events.

Open 10:00 am to 7:00 pm closed at 3:00 on Thursday.

Wednesday: There will be a FREE magic class offered at 4:00 to 5:00 (no need to
purchase any tricks since we will be showing how to use everyday items for
magic.) All ages are welcome!

Thursday: Anyone who stops in the shop will receive a free magic trick. (One per
family) (Closed at 3:00)

Friday: 25% off all purchases of $10.00 or more

Saturday: FREE movie written by and starring Harry Houdini at 7:30 pm

Sunday Closed

Monday Free magic show at 7:00 pm

Tuesday there will be a FREE tour of the Vanishing Magic Museum as seem on
MeTV’s Collectors Call at 7:00 pm.

We have many items once used by McDonald
Birch, Harry Blackstone Sr. and Jr. as well as items from the LaGrand David Show
and many other magicians from the past including Houdini.

Dr. Kenneth Ladd is resident magician and Aiden Franz-Donato is apprentice.

The time has come it's the magic day camp this Wednesday at the magic corner downtown wauseon at 113 s Fulton
St the camp will run from 9 to 3 when magic will be taught then there will be a big show open to the public at 7 where each camper will perform on stage in the birch theater along with resident magician Dr ladd and Aiden call 4198221416 for details or reserve your seat come snd support the next Copperfield.

It's that time of year! Magic Day Camp will be held July 12th from 9am to 3pm.

Campers age 10 and up are welcome to attend!

If your child is younger and you feel they will catch on quickly please give us a call to discuss.

The cost is $35 per each camper for the day. Campers need to bring a lunch and a drink.

Each camper camper will have the opportunity to preform in the evening show.

The show will begin at 7pm and the tickets for non performers will be $8 and is open to the public.
