The outdoors in general is her first love and if she could she would be living in a tent all year round. How did this happen?
How is she already a senior?
It feels like yesterday I had just brought her home. This lady is my world. And I have one more year to embrace her life and stories and soon she will be off making her own memories and life outside of mine. Hard to swallow and imagine but I could not be more proud.

Since she is a gal of many looks and tastes, these are just the beginning of our photo journey, starting on our property, some will be done in studio and outside property again and we hope one more place if it all works out. Stay tuned.

I was so excited and honored that a couple whom I have been following the love story unfold through the years…. wanted me to do their wedding and engagement.

We sadly had to reschedule due to rain but that was a blessing in disguise.
The day we were finally able, was perfect. Colors were beautiful and the sun was shining, but not nearly as bright as their love. I cannot get over how in love these two are. They are not only beautiful and easy to work with but they were fun and adorable and down right goofy. The recipe for perfect long lasting love and friendship.

Congrats on your engagement and the life long journey you are on, hand in hand.
And Thank you Amanda and Nick for letting me get a glimpse of your world of love and joy!

I love when clients of mine refer me. Word of mouth is my biggest advertisement.
Usually I get to know my seniors ahead of time but this one was a last minute and so I had to wing it…

But he was so awesome, he just knew how to pose and went along with all things I or my husband and even his mom suggested.

He was such an easy going young man and a pleasure to work with.
I had a blast getting to know him a bit during the session.

What do you do when it is a month of celebrations....
My birthday (7th), my husbands birthday (20th), OUR Anniversary (which is today the 14th), my parents Anniversary (21st), My sister in laws birthday (23rd), My daughters friends birthday (11th), and a few other friends birthdays and anniversaries....

YOU BUY A BIG CAKE...🎂
SO I decided to splurge on a cake (may become an annual thing....) from Sweet Jules. Who I have been following for a while. Her cakes just look so beautiful. So I had to have one.

So what does a food photographer wannabe do with this cake....
Take photos of it of course....before we can eat it.

Here is PART 1 of my cake photos.
PART 2 is when we cut into this said cake this week. ...One I change the color of the leaves to match the cheese cloth color....cuz why not.

My husband cant wait to dig in!

Announcement:
I am heading out to Dallas Texas this week. A very last minute trip for an event and potential partnership for an added passion of mine. That info and announcement will come later when the time is right.

But I get to go learn new things (outside of Photo/video) while doing my passion of photo and video. It is a wonderful win win. And I get to meet people I admire and have been talking to, learning from and growing with for about a year!

Since my daughter has a desire to move to Texas I felt like maybe we should make it a family trip. So we are all leaving tomorrow and heading back around the 8th maybe the 9th at the latest.

SO excited for this opportunity and experiences.

I am working hard on all sessions and will be working hard once I get back to finish many session up.

But if you need something ASAP let me know by TODAY!

This was such a memorable moment in time watching Drexel Building Supply team working together with Habitat for Humanity Oshkosh & ReStore to build a home for a family. This framing portion, done by Drexel, was done in one day. They all knew what to do, where to go and how to work beautifully as a team. Here I was able to capture most of the morning for you to view.

Incredible day with incredible people.

STUDIO IS UP AND RUNNING!!! 😍😍😍 I am so stoked that my dream is becoming a reality. And the man of my dreams helped me get it there. Not only do we have the studio ready to use… But we can use the 4+ acres of land to also make beautiful photos. And once other things get added I can offer this space to other photogs down the road. I’m so over the moon 🌙 . . . . . . . . . . NOTE: It will need some tweaking yet. But that is a consistent build as it goes… Things like the closet needs to get more organized but that is to be figured out as I go… and I will always get/make/buy more backgrounds and flooring and accessories as time goes on. And then there is the bathroom in works as well.

Lettuce 🥬 be friends.
