Clean vase: Always start with a clean vase to prevent bacteria buildup.

Cut stems properly: When arranging flowers, cut the stems diagonally at a fresh angle to maximize water uptake.

Regular water changes: Change the water in the vase every 2-3 days, or when it becomes cloudy.
