Don’t buy tickets from anyone other than from our website. We only sell tickets on our website and there are people who say they “can’t make it” to our event and wants to sell tickets that they never purchased to begin with. DO NOT BUY these tickets unless you know that person.

We are set up at the Waverly Iowa Farmers Market with limited bouquets and a lot of snow peas. Plus the smell of Hockey's Smokehouse cooking up a good breakfast.

Last night the kids wished me good night when I was making bouquets. Peter saw this lily and asked if it was real. I told him it was and asked if he wanted to take it home. He looked so happy to take it home! I wished them good night and peter said “thank you for the flowers” and it was so genuine. That filled my heart and I love that they are sharing in this journey with me.
This is what I hope my flowers bring to you and whoever you sharing them with!
Tomorrow Mother Nature is bringing the rain and I am bringing the shine…yea that was kind of cheesy but we will be at market tomorrow RAIN or SHINE. We have sunflower bouquets and lily bouquets ready to brighten your day.
Waverly Iowa Farmers Market is from 8:30 to noon but I will be leaving at 11:30.

This week’s bouquets feature a special flower to us. Seth’s grandma loved snapdragons and would always say “oh the snaps” when we would bring her a jar of them. Do you have a flower that brings back good memories?

Our snapdragons are blooming and it’s amazing! I’m proud of myself for getting 3’+ stem length.
Barn renovations are underway! We are so excited for this project and new space to work in.

We have a a lot of great bouquets for market and they will included peonies, ranunculus, stock, campanula! This is what bridal bouquets are made of! ALL grown by Engelbrecht Farm.
Before I loved flowers…I loved hostas. I have over 100 varieties and growing. I’m glad I snapped these pictures before the hail.
I think it would be so fun to have a nursery of hostas one day! I would love to see your hostas; send me a pic in the comments!

It was such a big day at the farm. It went from dirt to ready to plant. The ranunculus are almost hardened off but soon they will be living in here.
Anyone else using this bitter cold to make ice cream? The winter is the only time I make ice cream because I never have freezer space for my kitchen aid ice cream bowl but I can set it outside! What flavors do you make? I made pistachio here.
When we purchased the farm the cat came with it and since then we have fixed the cat and released her back out. She is slowly getting used to us but she always comes out when we have events at the farm.

Who hates Japanese beetles? 🙋🏽♀️ This year we are trying bag traps, soapy water and letting the kids vacuum them up!
