I just celebrated a decade of wedding planning last year! So cheers to #2025 & year 11.. .. which is also the number my mom chooses to send from the ✨. Yes, I believe my mom sends numbers from the “other side” when she needs me to pay attention. 😇🪽

If your MoB or MoG has a request for the big day (within reason of course) I’m going to do what I can to make it happen. We gotta love the mamas while we have them!

I L O V E the rain. Love it, love it, L O V E it. Not the flooding / hurricane that makes you need a Plan A, B AND C type but the pings off the metal roof of our pergola, sleeps like a bèbè, crockpot meal type that’s going to wash away the ick that has been January.

I met a new friend recently and he/ze introduced me to & asked me to practice new pronouns which then led me to a fascinating world of more new to me pronouns.

One of my new goals for 2025 is to not only learn more of these but to meet the faces who prefer them so I can use them all!! 🏳️‍🌈

Cheers to kicking off 2025, again! To washing away the old and bringing in a fresh & new start! And to pushing ourselves to be better humans to each other. 🥂

Everybody’s favorite and most sought after bloom, the peony.. .. until the quote arrives.

This small bunch is going to start at $100. Yes, you read that right. They are priced for the season and demand.

I’m not downing this beloved stem, it’s a favorite in my house too. I’m just saying if you’re on a budget look into alternatives and maybe consider the following;

- say I do in May, it’s peony season here in VA and we have a plethora of local farms ready to bundle their babes up and send them your way.
- use them in bouquets but skip including them in your arbor, opt for a less expensive bloom there like a blush rose or cremon mum.
- get a 2nd job and a sugar daddy!! 🤷🏼‍♀️

Can you believe our godsons had several peony bushes in their front yard that they practiced their bat swings on every spring. 🧢⚾️😱😂

Let’s start with when you go out to a local eatery, you should expect on average, $25-$50 per person (including a beer or 2). So.. what would a realistic number be for a & catering company who essentially comes in and creates an entire restaurant in a matter of hours and breaks it all down again just a few hours later.. while cooking & serving all of your and .

I’m here to prepare you bestie, you’re going to be starting in the $75.+ region and climbing quickly based on rentals, food (often locally sourced) costs, signature drinks, staffing etc.

Your catering bill can very easily start at 35%+ of your budget and rightfully so. You and your are in communication with them for months creating a personalized , and flow of . They are bringing in linens, tableware, food, an entire bar and in some cases an entire kitchen.

Your catering team is worth their weight in gold + GRATUITY!! We LOVE our catering besties and will happily pair you with the one that most suits the vibe.

. what is the point of a if you can’t have a little and make some ?!

#WoodieParker here! 🐕🐾 I’m taking over my pawrents Instagram this week. Did you know that me and my sister are rescue pups? Yea, my pawrents say the rescue told them I was free because I really like to run & jump, run & jump again and repeat. I guess some hoomans don’t like that cause some hoomans kept me in crates a lot, some gave me sleepy time meds and some even brought me back a few times. This made me scared and do more run & jumps. Thankfully my mum & dad like my run & jumps and let me play all day if I want, they even paid full rescue price to take me home anyways cause they know my rescue friends can use those funds to help more misunderstood dogs like me find awesome pawrents like mine. My mum says that some of you have rescue pups too and you even bring them to see her at her wedding job, I can smells them when she comes home so she shows me pictures and says we could be best friends. I’ll share some of my friends with you this week and hopefully help raise awareness (and maybe a few dollars) for rescue pups like me, my sister and new best friends. My rescue was AugustaDog Adoptions , they are a foster based program which means the furry rescues get to sleep in houses w/ people until they find pawrents like mine. If you have a few extra pennies in your purse could you please consider gifting them a few to help me celebrate my 1 year in my furever home! 🐕🐾 Mum says to also tell you to turn on your sound, I guess my crunching is fun for some folx to hear. #asmr
