🥂What’s your most recent favorite dress?

Farrah by Elysee. She’s charming and sweet, with the perfect touch of spicy.

🥂What’s the origin story of Babe Bridal?

My sister and I have always dreamed of owning a business together since we were little girls. Fast forward a few years; I became engaged and I fell in love with the wedding industry and knew it was the perfect avenue for us! Ever since, we’ve been trying to make every woman’s, little girl, dreams come to life too starting with their dream wedding dress!

🥂What dress trends are brides most interested in lately?

Basque waist - they are so flattering!

🥂What’s the standing record for shortest time it’s taken a bride to say yes to the dress?

I would say our quickest appointment was about 45 minutes start to finish. A lot of brides actually end up falling in love with the first dress they try on!

🥂What’s the farthest you’ve had a bride travel to Babe Bridal?

We have had brides from Louisiana, Oklahoma, and California!

🥂What’s your current favorite local restaurant?

There is a little Mexican restaurant down the street that we are obsessed with - Pura Vida! So yummy 😋

TREND ALERT for fall/winter 2024…say hello to the basque waist! ✨

This has been all over the bridal runways and for good reason! The basque waist was made to hug the waistline and elongate your silhouette. (Can you say “va va voom”?) 🥂

You’ll notice the corset-esque contour of a basque waist gown, which is great for drawing attention to your upper body and emphasizing the natural curves of your torso! 👰🏼‍♀️

April & Amber: Fall through spring!

April: I will pick a beach every time! It is my happy place and where my husband and I actually got married - in Mexico!

Amber: April and I are totally different when it comes to this! I would love an elopement on a cliff, overlooking a lake with mountains in the distance.

April: Meeting and getting to know all of our brides and their stories.

Amber: Getting to connect with so many amazing women.

🥂 When you make an appointment with us, you’ve got the boutique all to yourself for 90 ethereal minutes. That’s right - we’re by appointment-only, so you get the most exclusive, VIP experience (champagne on us!) 🍾

🥂 It may take less, but the average number of dresses you’ll get to try on is between 12-15! Every bride is different. Don’t worry about the number.

🥂 Before your appointment, we have you fill out a fun little questionnaire and request inspo pics to get to know you and your preferred style. When you show up for your session, we’ll have some dresses pulled for you to get us started!

We see a lot of new faces on here, so we wanted to introduce ourselves and chat a little. 🤍

🥂 What made you fall in love with the wedding industry?

April: The industry is so full of love, excitement, and happiness. I truly have a passion for all things bridal and being immersed in the industry is a such a blessing.

Amber: The industry is very fashion forward, while allowing the classic and timeless gowns to still shine. Each bride curates their special day differently with the venue and decor, but the bride in her gown will always be the focal point and it’s such an honor to be apart of that and see everything come together 🤍

🥂 What’s your current favorite dress and why?

April: I’d have to say Greer by - the jacquard print is so different and she fits every figure like a dream.

Amber: It’s so hard to pick just one! At the moment I’m loving 66290 by - the subtle sparkle detailing in the appliqué with the delicate off the shoulder straps leaves the gown feeling romantic yet flirty for the perfect balance

🥂 What’s the best part about owning a bridal boutique?

April: We say it every day.. We have the best brides! They make doing this so much fun and so rewarding!

Amber: Hearing all the love stories that come into our shop! At the end of each appointment we feel so connected with our bride and their entourage; just overflowing with love and excitement. It’s such a special moment to be apart of.

🥂 Number one piece of advice for brides trying on dresses?

April: Listen to your gut. It’s easy to let others opinions of the dress get into your head. At the end of the day it is your big day and the dress meant for you is the dress you feel most beautiful, confident, and like YOU in! 🤍

Amber: Have a vision, but stay open minded! It’s okay to fall in love with a gown you didn’t originally picture! Staying open minded will help to allow you to make a decision without being confused by your original vision! ✨
