✨ out of “office” ✨

On a personal note, this past week my husband and I welcomed our sweet baby into the world. We are truly blessed! With this being said, I will be on maternity leave the next few weeks.

While I soak up all the baby snuggles, our floral studio will be taking a brief pause. My little family is truly blessed and we’re cherishing every moment of this short season.
With this being said, I cannot wait to return to all things florals in just a short while as we prepare for spring weddings and events! Your orders and support are cherished and I cannot wait to get back to designing. The spring and summer cut flower seedlings are sown.. so this spring is sure to be filled with bundles of beauty + growth 🥺🌿

Happy valentines friends!
Here’s to doing what you love with who you love. Today I’m filled with nothing but gratitude getting to do just that.

Here’s a snapshot from last year of my husband and I starting a new thing (a little florist shop) and sharing it with our community at the Parker County Peach Festival. Crazy how it’s almost been a year. It’s such a blessing to dream and build this little life. I swear there’s nothing sweeter.

Yesterday we celebrated our anniversary✨
It was a beautiful day filled with light, reflection and true thankfulness for the joyous years my husband and I have shared together. I swear everyday just keeps getting sweeter 🥲

I had the joy of designing the florals for our wedding! Its something I knew I wanted to do… but if we’re being honest, I never dreamed I would have the joy of being the florist for other peoples weddings too 💍

Isn’t it amazing where our life journey takes us?! I love my husband and my job - truly, I couldn’t be more thankful! 🫶🏽

🌿 It's Peony Season 🌿
My favorite vibrant flowers are now in-season! There is nothing more enchanting than adding these beauties into spring arrangements and bouquets (pictures to come)!

The opulent appeal of peonies is quite drawing, as their intense blooms and hardy nature make them perfect for weathering even hot and humid Texas days!

They even linguistically signify romance, elegance, honour and abundance. How poetic?!

The beautiful blooms can be enjoyed on your table or plate! I love using freshly washed petals over spring salads and in an occasional Rosé Spritzer.

After lots of thought and loving support from family and friends.. I'm finally officially "opening up shop." Life is simply too short to put off dreams - and so, I'm excited to start sharing my dream with you all.

This little dream of mine started as young girl, who insisted on braiding flowers into my hair for even the most menial outings. Somehow that same love of leaves and petals has carried on into my life. Over the years, I've had the joy of creating florals for friends, family and even my own wedding.

I would love nothing more than to share that same joy and passion with my community. That is why I am opening Jill's Garden.
