Yesterday marked FIVE YEARS of Royal Event Rentals! ✨
As I sit here and reflect over the past 5 years, all I can think about is how Royal Event Rentals came to life. I am so often asked this question, but have never shared it on here, so let me tell you the story. It all started with 20 ivory polyester tablecloths, a couple hundred blush napkins, gold beaded charger plates and some miscellaneous wedding decor my Mom was begging me to sell on Facebook marketplace. Of course I selfishly said no, because I’d do all the work to sell them for nothing. After going back and forth for a minute, my Uncle chimed in and said “Start a rental business!”. The wheels started spinning and we had a few ideas, so we filed for our LLC, started designing a website and jumped on every social media platform.
Oh how easy I thought it would be…
With a rowena iron and an oversized ironing board, we got to work! I really thought we had it all figured out. In the first year, Royal Event Rentals had 3 weddings. Fast forward to 2021, after surviving a crazy pandemic that rocked the industry; we now service over 200 weddings a year!
I could go on and on about this company and everything we have learned over the past 5 Years, but I’m really just here to say THANK YOU. To all of my friends and family who have supported us along the way, to our couples who have trusted us with every detail and to our amazing vendor friends, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Royal Event Rentals would not be what it is today without all of the love and support! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But most importantly, thank you to the angel above who instilled the value of grit and grace into us as children. I owe everything to you Mom. PS, I don’t think I ever repaid you for the tablecloths that started it all.
