We're excited to share that our Jack-O'-Lantern Nights event received the Excellence in Programming Special Events award! Thank you to Texas Recreation and Park Society (TRAPS) for a great conference and for this recognition!

Held at historic Chandor Gardens, Jack-O'-Lantern Nights transforms our 3.5-acre gardens into an immersive Halloween experience, complete with foggy pirate coves, eerie lights, and haunted pathways. Since 2020, this event has sold out each night, showing just how much it’s become a fall favorite in Weatherford.

Huge thanks to our team, volunteers, and attendees who make this event a success year after year!

That's a wrap on our 2024 Fall events! A huge thank you goes out to our amazing Parks, Recreation, and Special Events team for their dedication and hard work. Heads up, everyone! Chandor Gardens will be closed to the public from October 18th through October 30th as we prepare for our Jack-O'-Lantern Nights! 🎃
We'll be back to our regular business hours starting October 31st—just in time for Halloween!

Come see Chandor Gardens transformed back into White Shadows for this eerily beautiful event. Wander through haunting lights and fog, vote on your favorite carved pumpkins, and take on a haunted scavenger hunt!

🍂🎃 Fall has arrived at Chandor Gardens, and so have the pumpkins!
Come take a stroll through the gardens! Our pumpkins will be on display through mid-November (until they’re still looking great).

Tuesday – Friday: 9am–5pm
Saturday: 9am–3pm
Sunday: Noon–4pm

🌿Fall Cleanup at the Chandor Nature Trail!🌿

On September 28th, the Parks & Rec team, along with the amazing volunteers from the Native Plant Society, gathered at Chandor Gardens to give our beautiful walking trail a fresh look! Together, we removed litter, cleared debris, and helped protect the natural beauty of this special spot. A huge THANK YOU to everyone who showed up and worked hard to keep our gardens and trails looking their best! Your efforts make a big difference in preserving the natural beauty we all enjoy.
