Some mandala magic! Botanical mandalas are one of our offerings

It is a geometric symmetrical diagram used in many spiritual traditions to create sacred space and focus for meditation and introspection. Hiiiiii! I am Dawn, founder and creative human behind black + bloom. Realizing I haven’t popped in on this feed in a while. I get lit up sharing my love of plants + my love of design with all of you! There is so much natural beauty here in Asheville and I’m honored to incorporate it into my work.

A little about me: I love creating (other than flowers) – drawing, interiors, furniture, paper crafts, hand lettering, herbal medicines; and I make a seriously bad ass Spotify playlist. I am obsessed with White Pine trees (to be honest, all trees really) and pottery. I have a cat named Luna and she is the best snuggler. I have lots of house plants and always open to more. Fall is my favorite season, which may or may not be because my birthday is in October. Libra love! ♎️

I hope everyone had a beautiful Mother's Day weekend. My mom is in NY so I didn't get to spend the day with her, but so grateful for her unconditional love and understanding of how I've chosen to live my life 🌼🌼 Doing things different and changing the ways! And she supports me and loves me no matter what. I don't have children so this is a little tough for me to fully grasp honestly, but I'm healing my wounds to feel that in other types of relationships 💛💛
