Webster UCC Caring Community Concert Series

A free-to-the-public concert series on the lawn of Webster UCC. A voluntary offering each night supports a different local charitable organization.

The Webster United Church of Christ’s Summer Caring Community Concerts is celebrating its 13th season with this year’s series on our lawn at 570 Klem Road. The concerts began in 2005 with a donation by a local family, whose dream was to create an atmosphere of community, with the intention of supporting local charities or organizations in need. The free-to-the-public concert series is funded by an

annual church spring dinner and proceeds from the food and refreshments available for purchase at the church-run concession stand. A free will offering taken at each concert is given to a specific local charity featured at that concert. 2016 beneficiaries will include Heritage Christian Services, Camp Scholarships for Youth in Need, Webster Public Library Book Boxes for Kids, Webster Community Chest, Challenger Miracle Field, and Webster Comfort Care Home. We have a great line up for our 13th year. Please join us on Wednesdays with your friends and neighbors for great family entertainment, good food and most important, an opportunity to help our neighbors.

Our final concert of the season was a great success! Around 600 people came out to enjoy a beautiful evening with Allegro. This performance closed our 20th year of Caring Community Concerts and sent the total dollars collected for local charities to over $100,000. Thank you, Webster! See you next year!

About 500 people came out to enjoy a great evening with The Uptown Groove last night. We dodged the rain and totally enjoyed the Groove. The generous donations went to the Webster Health and Education Network.

Wow! This sounds like another fun evening. The Uptown Groove will bring lots of energy and groove to our lawn at 570 Klem Road in Webster on Wednesday , July 24 at 6:30.
This elite party band from Western and Central, NY plays a variety of Motown, R&B Funk/Soul, Disco, Rock and Current Top 40 Pop/Rock.
Donations will benefit the Webster Health and Education Network.
Come early and enjoy a burger or hot dog from our Snack Bar.

Coming up next week, the Monica Hall Band will bring us their unique feel to some great Country, Rock, and Blues tunes. Join us on the lawn on Wednesday, July 17 at 6:30. Concessions will be available starting at 6:00. Be prepared for a fun evening dancing and singing along with this energetic and talented band. Free will donations will be collected to benefit the Webster Public Library BookBox for Kids and Teens.

8-Days-a-Week will be performing Wednesday, July 10, 6:30 - 8:00. This 4 piece band has been together since 2010 and
recreates the sound and excitement
of the Beatles' recordings at its performances.

It looks like we are going 4 for 4 with beautiful weather for this year's concerts! Join us tonight for the final concert of the season - Uptown Groove (theuptowngroove.com). As always, the concert is free but we will collect a voluntary offering to benefit a Webster charity. This week's beneficiary is Meals on Wheels and food vouchers through Webster Community Chest. Food concessions open at 5:45, concert starts at 6:30.

Rochester’s original dance band, the GateSwingers Big Band is an exciting 15 piece band, with vocalists and a master of ceremonies. The band features dance music from the 40's, 50's, 60's and present day for your dancing and listening pleasure.

The weather looks like it is going to cooperate tonight for our first concert of the season! Join us for Allegro - food will be available at 5:45, concert begins at 6:30. Tonight's beneficiary is the Webster Library Book Boxes for Kids.

If it does rain, we will move inside (indoor seating is limited to 150 people). If you are unvaccinated, we ask that you wear a mask if you enter the building.
