I really enjoy seeing the pictures after the wedding to see all the joy. We do our set up and leave and most times never get to see the day so I really enjoy this!

McKay and Blade were married 1-7-25 . Beautiful color scheme to start the year off with. They were married under the grand oaks and the weather was perfect! Not always in January will you be lucky enough to have that good of a weather day. The bride carried a bouquet of roses, ranunculus, stock and snapdragons. Each bridesmaid carried a bouquet consisting of a single variety of one of the flowers in McKays bouquet. Tables were decorated with a single bloom in crystal glass vases and decorated with Italian ruskus, eucalyptus and babies breath. It was a very simple elegant look.

It’s been a busy year of flowers! Saying goodbye to 2024 and Hello to 2025! Looking forward to all the weddings on the books for 2025! Also looking forward to growing some special flowers for the weddings. Nothing tops those special touches of local flowers! So lookout 2025 will be a good one!

One week ago Ashley and Chase were married at in Schulenburg. Berry Blue roses, anenome and seasonal flowers for the bouquets and 100 plus glass vessels that adorned the tables for a sweet and simple look! Congratulations to them and thank you for asking us to be part of your blessed day!

Skye and Wallace were married 12-14 at Schneider hall in Columbus. It was a rainy day but all worked out despite the rain showers. There is an old wise tale that if it rains on your wedding day you will be rich but it doesn’t specify rich in what?!!

Between some much needed rain we delivered and set up 3 weddings on Saturday. McKenzie’s bouquet and bridal party for the wedding . It’s a very good rewarding feeling when you present the bridal bouquet to your bride and her face just lights up and tells you oh my you nailed it! Exactly what I needed!Makes you feel good! This wedding was my last of 2024 and now get a break until next year which in reality is not that far away!

Congratulations to McKayla and Dillion! We got to attend this sweet wedding and it was a beautiful day! Getting to do the flowers and then attend the wedding is extra special as you get to see all the planning unfold and see all the true love and happiness!!

This past week we did the sweetest little wedding near Watrenton and Roubd Top. Jenifer chose white peonies with white roses and magnolia leaves with a touch of terracotta. All the guests stayed in the cottages onsite and flowers were placed in each cottage . Two receptions followed with one on Thursday and another on Friday at FrischAuf using all seasonal flowers to decorate the tables. The weather was just amazing for their evening wedding!

This beautiful maroon colored plant is Hibiscus Mahogany Splendor. It gets about 7-8 tall and several feet wide from one little seed. You can start seeds in the spring and it grows all summer into the fall until it freezes. This time of year it has this beautiful flower which doesn’t last long but out in the landscape it’s such a beautiful plant. You can find seeds .
Give it a try! Very easy to grow!
