It’s taken me some time to write this post. While we’ve already informed our previous clients and email subscribers, I’ve been holding off on sharing it here. Maybe I felt it wouldn’t feel real until it was officially “posted” — because, that’s how things seem to work in today’s world, right lol? If I don’t say it out loud, maybe I can hold onto it a little longer. But the truth is, whether I post it or not, it’s real. So, here it goes…

It is with a heavy heart that we share some difficult news. After much reflection and consideration, we have made the tough decision to close MarieRay’s Venue. Unfortunately, we are no longer able to sustain the financial demands required to operate the venue.

This journey has been filled with incredible memories, from weddings and celebrations to corporate events and community gatherings. We are deeply grateful for every client, partner, and friend who entrusted us with their special moments and supported us along the way.

While this chapter is closing, we are not saying goodbye entirely. Events & Designs by Ashley Marie LLC will continue to offer our event planning and design services, and we are committed to bringing your visions to life in other ways.

Thank you for the love, trust, and support you’ve shown MarieRay’s Venue. We will always cherish the memories we’ve created together.

I would like to take a moment to thank each and every one of you who supported me during the Fab Over 40 competition. Although I didn’t make it to the next round, my heart is so full of gratitude. ❤️

The votes, encouragement, and kind words you all poured out meant the world to me. It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m truly humbled by the outpouring of love and support I’ve received along the way.

This journey was about so much more than votes—it was about raising awareness and funds for a cause close to my heart. I am truly honored to have been a part of the fundraising efforts for the National Breast Cancer Foundation through this competition. Knowing that every donation made in support of me was also helping such an important cause is something I’ll always cherish. 💕

Sometimes the journey is the prize, and this experience reminded me of the amazing community I have in my corner. Thank you for believing in me, cheering me on, and making me feel absolutely fabulous! 💃
