First time going to the Ashland Christmas parade. So much fun what a beautiful town. The hot air balloon trailer gave us small blast of heat, so cool! We need to get this going in Wellington, what do you think?

We had the pleasure of hosting the 2nd Annual Kipton Community Church Fall Festival and it was a huge success. Thank you to Chuck Livermore, Teresa Williams, and Amy Hammond for sticking by us through the entire process from beginning to end. Also, to our great neighbors Roger Nikiforrow, Chris Beyers and his Dad, and Steve Larchain for bringing their tractors and Mike Peabody for bringing his Pulling Truck who for all to enjoy. A huge thank you to The Youth Group for helping with set up and clean up and to Madison Elise Dennis for bringing her camera and capturing all the special moments I missed during the event. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful Fall day with church family and friends. We are considering opening this up to the public next year to include many of the same activities, but also invite food and craft vendors. Any thoughts?

It’s been a while since I’ve posted and the husband has been reminding me, but the truth of the matter is I haven’t had the time to sit back and gather my thoughts after last weekends wedding, because we went right into planning and setting up for our churches Fall Festival this weekend. But as I reflected throughout the week I became more and more thankful of the opportunities I’ve been given. One of those being the opportunity to be a part of one of the most special days in a persons life, their wedding day. To see a father and daughter standing in a place I stood four years ago questioning our move to the farm, brought things into focus and my heart was filled with joy. True joy.
