Here are the dates for the next few months that the VSO will be at the event center. They will be coming twice per month 🎉 The hours have changed slightly but feel free to reach out to either Jenna or Ellen to set up an appointment time ☺️

Thursday, Nov. 7, Sue and Nate Nasinec and their staff-served supper to the area Color Guard Posts- to the men and women who provide military honors for our funeral families. Minnesota Lake America Legion, Wells Area Color Guard, Bricelyn American Legion Post, Freeborn American Legion Post, Alden American Legion Post, Easton American Legion Post, Kiester American Legion Post.
This meal has been typically done the day before Veterans Day, but since Veterans Day fell on a Monday, we back it up to the Thursday evening before. Special thanks to Our Place on Main- Minnesota Lake, Marian and Laura for the delicious meal.
We have been proud to provide this meal since 2009. Thank you to ALL Veterans for their service.

Tonight!

** FYI** On Wednesday Oct. 9th @ 7 pm the Wells Fire Dept. will be doing it's annual Operation Edith Drill. The city wide siren will sound momentarily to signal the start. There will be fire trucks with lights on driving down your streets. Please don't be alarmed and call in to dispatch. Please let us know that you have practiced your escape drills and changed smoke detector batteries by turning on your outside house lights. Thanks

Mayo One landed in our parking lot as part of training exercise set up by the Wells Fire Department. Wells Ambulace crew and several other agencies were here as well.
Thank you to all the volunteers who donate their time on call, train and take classes to save members in our communities when we call 911 for help.
