I've been questioning whether I should post about this or not, but my loathing of the facades of perfection on social media have pushed me to. 2024 Was the worst and hardest year I've ever had. Thankfully it was filled with beautiful moments and beautiful flowers, but I lost two of my best buddies in 2024.

On June 30, my busiest wedding weekend of the whole year, I had to let go of my beautiful Piper Joy. She had grown her 3rd tumor and type of cancer and her tumor ruptured. I was so lucky to have Piper for 12+ years. She was with me for most of my 20's and as I navigated hard relationships, she was a constant reminder of what love was, and what love was not. We loved to do all of the old lady things together like tending to our dahlias and listening to Nanci Griffith. Her favorite Nanci Griffith song was Nanci's version of Boots of Spanish Leather. I miss her every day, still. She was employee of the month every month at Bloom Baby, and was the BEST dog.

Thanksgiving weekend I received that call that everyone dreads. My grandma had fallen and was being taken to the hospital. My vivacious, fun-loving grandma had somehow fallen and she never made it out of the hospital. We had something that far exceeded a grandmother/granddaughter relationship. As much as I have always hated being an only child AND only grandchild, I love that I never had to share my grandparents. So many of you met her at my flower shop, where she would come clean, organize, and keep me company. We loved to craft together and she was my number 1 fan when it came to any, and all art I produced. She recently, after 36 years, got me into doing puzzles with her. She was so excited about our next business venture (that I'm announcing tomorrow) and I don't know that I'll ever get over the fact that we lost her right before opening, and that she would never see it. Harvest Moon by Neil Young was her and my grandpa's song. Ironically, it started playing on the radio while I was writing this post. I'm sure it was a reminder from her that she is still with me, watching me, and hopefully proud of me.

Life is hard. Hug your loved ones.

Stay tuned for my last Bloom Baby post tomorrow 🌸

and I created this little cutie for the Festival of Trees this year 🌸 it was a last minute endeavor and I could not be more grateful to the businesses who donated. Our theme was "hidden gems" and we reached out to small businesses that we felt were hidden gems in our valley.

As a small business owner, I know what a big ask a donation is, and I was OVERWHELMED by how quick these businesses were to give and how generous they were. Quite frankly, I only got one rude response from a business, which I think is a testament to what amazing businesses we have around here.

So take some time to check out our little "Hidden Gems" tree and bid on it! You will win cool products from and . You will win gift cards to the following incredible businesses in our valley:

Wrapped up the last wedding of the season. Ending on a timeless classic white wedding was just how I wanted it. Thank you Paighton for letting me be a part of your special day. The is such a stunning pnw venue. I felt blessed to be able to spend an hour there setting up the arbor and soaking up the beauty and tranquility.

Another Night at the Museum Arrangement for the Wenatchee Valley Museum. Each one was made to represent a different station. This one was wine inspired for, you guessed it, the wine station 🍷

Our Story

Pam and Shawn McNeill purchased Just Roses 9 years ago and Full Bloom Flowers and Plants was born. Through hard work, long hours, and a dedication to quality they grew Full Bloom Flowers and Plants into the outstanding company it is today. After 7 years at Pybus Public Market, Pam and Shawn decided to sell the company so Pam could enjoy a semi-retirement. Morgan and Kyle Mott purchased Full Bloom Flowers and Plants from Pam and Shawn in February of 2020 and moved it to downtown Wenatchee. The Motts have the same dedication to providing quality arrangements and outstanding customer service that the McNeill’s did. Pam and Morgan now enjoy collaborating together on projects, weddings, and day to day floral adventures.
