We believe in the importance of family. Our staff is mostly made up of a strong family unit, husband, wife, and children working in concert together to provide great food and service throughout the Greater Tampa

Bay area. Our food is prepared in love and is seasoned with the most mouth-watering herbs and spices. We focus on ensuring that our customers are satisfied with every meal because, like our motto have stated, we believe that great food fuels the soul. We can provide catering services to your businesses, weddings, church events, family reunions, and intimate gatherings. Miss Vi's Cook-Up will work closely with you to help create the best menu for your event or social gathering.

About Miss Vi’s Cook-Up

Let me tell you little bit of who we are and what we do. Miss Vi’s cook-up is named in honor of my maternal grandmother Viola Accra from Guyana. A lot of what I cook is attributed to the skills learned from her while I was growing up. She had the talent of taking the simplest and freshest ingredients and turning them in to a tastetravaganza (yes, that’s a word). One of her specialities would be the renowned Guyanese dish called cook-up rice. Now, with her skill this dish was so scrumptious that it would bring in people from around her neighborhood armed with a plate to share in this gastronomical feast. Family legend has it that my father enjoyed Miss Vi’s rice so much that it helped him take the decision to marry my mother (mom’s not so hot on this story so we don’t mention it… often).

My skills are a dichotomous blend of a formal culinary education and family teachings. So who are we? We are a social, corporate catering and vending company servicing the Greater Tampa Bay Area. We are small enough for the personal touch but with the experience to ensure every event is something special. We specialize in Caribbean foods and are renowned from our intimate gatherings to our corporate meals. We have the flexibility to help you customize a menu for your specific needs and would be happy to work with you to make your event a memorable one.
