There is something absolutely freeing about shooting 35mm film. The aesthetic it gives with the final product. I honestly wish I could put the feeling into words at how pure it feels to capture these images this way

Really stoked on this shot from this past weekend celebrating Kendall and Victor.

Learning how to use off camera flash has been one of the greatest additions in tools in my photographic journey. It allows me to create things that I see in my brain, and then translate them into the story somehow.

Im influenced by a lot of Film Noir and old Bogart films I watched with my grandfather. The Excalibur from was perfect for this!

In this image, I used two flash units paired with Grid + Sphere.

A GT250 camera left as my key light on the couple and a GT200 camera right at bit distanced back to kind of give some fill.

Two weeks of intense rain and the one day where there’s a break and only a 5% chance of rain, and it’s wedding day. This never happens to me ever! 🤣

This is the first time I’ve ever been to The Heavens in Hot Springs, NC. It was absolutely perfect. Amazing Ridgeline view, rustic elegance amenities and lodging, and moments that made the day an event.

please enjoy this sneak peek, and thank you, Naomi and Matthew for having me as a part of your day and making me feel like family. I had the best time!
