That’s the part of entrepreneurship I’m most proud of—
the resilience,
the heart,
the “keep going” even when it’s inconvenient or unexpected.”

Tonight feels like one of those moments that really shows you what small business ownership is made of.

We’ve spent months preparing for Black Friday + Small Business Saturday—

planning every detail, 80 hr workweeks, wanting this weekend to feel special for our little corner of Yankton.

And then— like life loves to do —
the weather throws a curveball.

A snowstorm… right on top of the biggest weekend of the year 🫣

For big-box stores, weather like this is a blip.
For a small business, it can reshape the whole season.

We rely on these moments to get our entire team through the slow, dreary months ahead.

I’m not sharing this to complain—just to be real.

Small business life is full of those quiet moments where you take a deep breath,
feel every emotion at once,
and decide to show up anyway.

And that’s exactly what we’re doing.

Snow or no snow…
the lights will be on.
The store will be warm.
The shelves will be full.
And the magic will still be there.

We’re so excited to welcome Jana Carrick Jana Carrick Designs for a pop-up event all day Saturday, Nov. 22nd! Her Forever dress is a classic layering piece and designed and manufactured in the U.S.A.

The color pink is taking over boutiques across the nation this Friday (including downtown West Bend!) as we celebrate Pink Friday on Nov. 21st.
What is Pink Friday?
Before Black Friday, Think Pink.
Pink Friday is a nationwide event (since 2020!) dedicated to before the big box stores.

To celebrate, downtown West Bend is hosting a shop hop! Receive a punch card at any downtown West Bend boutique, make a stop at each listed location, and get a chance to win an awesome giveaway basket from all participating shops and a $10 gift card to each location.
Each store will have their own surprises from there, and ours will have you popping balloons (literally!) for a chance to win up to 50% off your order.
