On Saturday January 18th, President Branagan was joined by Lodge Brothers Matt Buchhoffer, Jason Hina, and Kody Smith to participate in the annual Polar Plunge which supports the Special Olympics.

We will never forget your heroism and sacrifice to protect and preserve our freedom. We are forever grateful and will never forget your heroism.

On October 26, 2024, the South Jersey FOP Lodge #56 held our 4th annual Cigar Fundraiser. Attendees enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon of great food, desserts, camaraderie, and great ci**rs.

On October 25, 2024, the South Jersey FOP Lodge #56 had the privilege of hosting Talk Radio 1210WPHT Philadelphia, Kayal & Company Morning Radio Show from our lodge. The Kayal & Company presented the "Great Mock Debate" featuring Shawn Farash as Donald Trump, and Estee Palti as Kamala Harris.
This event was organized by the Families Behind the Badge Children's Foundation and Chief Wayne Bonfiglio (Ret. Berlin Twp PD). Members of the public who purchased tickets to this event were treated to a spectacular breakfast catered by Stellato's Market. Lodge #56 bartender Anthony Bonfiglio provided Bloody Marys and Mimosas for those in attendance. A special thank you to Lou Hannon, president of Camden Superior Officers Lodge #144 who whipped up a batch of his special Cajun grits for this event, and to Lodge #56 photographer, Ken Barrett.

On September 26th, Lodge 56 renamed our lodge after retired Berlin Township Chief and lodge 56 charter member Joseph Batten and honored deceased members with bricks to be placed at our police officer memorial.

South Jersey FOP Lodge 56 would like to remind everyone of the upcoming SOUTH JERSEY SHOWDOWN III, featuring the Camden County Warriors Ice Hockey Team vs. the New Jersey State Police Ice Hockey Team, on Saturday, October 5, 2024. Please take a look at the attached flyer for event details. This is a great event that supports the Michael R. McCausland Foundation. Bring out the entire family for an afternoon and evening of fun and great ice hockey. Gift basket raffles and a 50-50 will take place after the hockey game.

The members of South Jersey FOP Lodge #56 extend our heartfelt condolences and prayers to the family, friends, and Officers of the Philadelphia Police Department and Philadelphia FOP Lodge #5 on the passing of Philadelphia Police Officer Jaime Roman, who succumbed to injuries on September 10, 2024 after being shot in the line of duty in June of this year. Rest Easy Brother.
