We celebrate Chandeleur in France by making (and eating) delicious crêpes.
Napoleon Bonaparte believed it would bring him luck wining the war against Prussia and repeated several times the ritual of flipping a crêpe in one hand and holding a gold coin in another one. Sadly, no such luck
Crêpes are delicious, light, sweet and real treat with plain sugar, chocolate sauce or any fruit jams

Happy Memorial Day!
What's you cooking today?
How about some easy seared center cut pork chops ?
To get a more juicy and tender meat, use a flavorful brine for 2 to 4 hour maximum.( bayleaves, peppercorns, lemon, fresh rosemary)
Use premiun quality meat, pasture raised pork, Berkshire or Duroc for example
Cooking tips:
Generously season your pork chops because pork chop crust is important for flavor
Sear over medium-high heat without moving the pork chop.
Resist the urge to move the pork chops around or look underneath as they cook, it will disrupt the sear. Once the pork chops are golden brown on the first side, you can flip. Do not sear more than 5 minutes.

Pickled Organic cawliflower and organic rainbow mini carrots 🥕 😋
Added turmeric, corriander and peppercorns to your brine.
The hot, hot brine is poured over the top. Let those veggies soak in the brine until it is totally cooled off. Then close the lid and refrigerate it. The veggies get to chill out and pickle themselves for two days before they’re ready for tasting.
Indulge with this easy snack or add some to your salad. It’s way colorful and pretty, this stuff also makes a terrific Happy Hour treat.

We love them for brunch!
Pan Roasted Asparagus Omelet topped with Asiago cheese
Recipe sharing: serve 2
Place 2 dozen of green asparagus cut in half in a non-stick pan with a drizzle of olive oil, pan roast for 5 to 8 minutes until done.. beat 2 eggs with 1 tablespoon of heavy cream , salt pepper to taste. Add to asparagus, cook for 1 to 3 minutes to desired consistency (wet or dry). Sprinkle asiago cheese .. transfer to plate !

A religious and pagan celebration in France.
Let's make some crêpes!
While we can't travel to Paris, you can still enjoy some delicious handcrafted authentic French crêpes; choice of savory or sweet crêpes.
For all your special events, think crepes station. Be assured Chef Sylvie follows all sanitary guidelines to prevent the spread Covid-19. Freshly made to order.
Tradional Gruyère and egg savory crêpe or chocolate dessert crêpe are some of many menu choices.
