Just a month ago Corey Hutch had the DJ Express entertain at his Mom's 70th birthday party. Come August 11, 2024, he wanted us back to do his wife Stacey's 50th birthday. The result was the same: a great time + so much fun. Stacey requested all the line dances, especially her favorite The Wobble. Happy Birthday Stacey.

What a special day, 8/10, for the Lobella Court Block Party in Chester Springs Pa. As well, the crowd celebrated the 7 yr old birthday of a fun loving A. J. Miller + also the birthday of a beautiful neighbor, Laura. There were so many kids who loved all the activities including the Hoola Hoop, Limbo, Macarena, Chicken Dance, etc. Thanks goes out to Aaron + Kim Miller who asked us to DJ the event. One of the Specialties of the DJ Express is entertaining at such Block Parties + kids events, so taking care of this group was so much fun. Many in the group enjoyed the DJ Express in the Spring at the West Vincent Elementary School as we entertained the kids + Mom's for their Country Hoedown

Congratulations go out to Sarani + Jayanta Sinha who celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on Saturday, July 20, at the Springhill Country Club in Ivyland, Pa. It was a pleasure for the DJ Express to be asked to dj + entertain the many guests who were there to share this special moment with the happy couple. Sarani surprised her guests by planning a host of activities including a fashion show + 6 solos sung by her friends. All the ladies looked so beautiful as they dressed so extravagantly for the occasion + all enjoyed the many Bollywood songs selected by the anniversary couple.

July must definitely be Bollywood Month as I did a wonderful Bollywood Graduation party on 7/6, + will be doing a Bollywood 25th Anniversary on 7/20. For the graduation, the friends + family of Aakrit Gupta celebrated him + so many paid tribute to him with words of congratulations + encouragement. It was obvious how very proud everyone, but especially his parents, Sanjit + Sweta, were of Aakrit + his accomplishments. Of the two pictures, one shows the handsome young graduate holding the mic. The other shows his Dad, Sweta, holding the mic giving tribute to his son. The DJ Express congratulates Aakrit + his family + wishes him well as he pursues a degree in engineering from Purdue University

It was such a privilege + so much fun to entertain at the wedding of the new Mr + Mrs Michael Goodmote at the beautiful Buck Hotel, Pa on June 8. Christina + her husband were celebrated by 75 friends + family members who were so happy for the new couple. Christina + her female friends loved dancing to all the line dances like Cupid Shuffle, + also to the many songs she chose from the 70's through to the 90's. It really was a fun evening + I'd like to wish the bride + groom a lifetime of happiness together

Congratulations to Graeson Mooney-Doyle who graduated from High School this week + was celebrated by Mom, Dad, sisters + so many friends last night, 6/15, at the Doyle Wilmington residence. Everyone was so proud of Graeson, who plans to attend Arcadia University in the Fall. It was a pleasure for the DJ Express to entertain all the guests with a lot of beach music, interspersed with many of Graeson's favorite current hits. It was especially nice to see Graeson + fellow graduates dance some special choreographed steps to a few of their requests. I'm sure Mom, Kim + Dad, Tim were so proud of their graduate.

Pal is that great organization that does so much for our kids. Our hats go off to them for all the good that they provide for our neighborhoods. In lieu of that, it was such a privilege for the DJ Express to be asked to provide the musical entertainment + country line dance instruction at their event last night, 5/31, in Phila for the Yeehaw Fundraiser for the Angels Cheerleading group. What a wonderful + fun event which included bronco bull riding. Thank you Cindy + the committee for asking the DJ Express to part of your event.. It is amazing how popular country dancing has become as evidenced by this dance Friday, 5/24, in Kennett Square, Pa, at the Calabrese Performing Arts Center.There were 70 dancers + so many of them were beginners who enjoyed the numerous beginners lessons. Also, we played all requests + all the big hits the advanced dancers wanted making sure we took care of everyone. So, whatever your level of dance, be sure to keep your ears open for the country dances in Kennett Sq, Downingtown + Collegeville by Jim Dawson + the DJ Express. Our next dance at the Calabrese P. A. Center is Saturday, June 22, 7-10. No alcohol permitted. BYOB + soft drinks.

It's the wedding season + here, on 5/25, was our 1st of many weddings to come for the next 5 months. Congratulations to the newly weds, Linnea Dental + her husband who exchanged vows to become the new Mr + Mrs Michael Kurtzhals. It was a beautiful outdoor ceremony that preceded the reception in the exquisite Sullivan House in the Hershey Mills development in West Chester.

One of the specialties of the DJ Express is entertaining at kids events. Here we are on 5/19/24, at the annual West Bradford Day festival near Downingtown. Families with their kids came out in full force + were ready to party. They participated + had so much fun doing the YMCA, the MACARENA, Chicken Dance + the Hula Hoop Contest. But the most popular activity was the Limbo Contest, which is always such a huge hit with the kids. Join us in the Fall for the next outdoor festival, + make sure you bring the kids.

The DJ EXPRESS has done over 1000 Karaoke events + also entertained at many Nursing homes. However, this past Wednesday, 5/15, was the first time we combined both services as we provided Karaoke for the Wesley Enhanced Living facility on the Boulevard in Phila. It was a complete success as the residents sang Sinatra, Tony Bennett + Elvis. The last hour the staff joined in the fun as they sang more modern tunes. Thanks goes out to Neil Farbor's DJ Co., "CELEBRATIONS" which asked us to represent them at this special event.

Whether it's a 60 yr old party like we did last week or a 6th birthday party we did this week on 5/4/24, the result is the same. The DJ Express does a fabulous job of entertaining ,+ getting the crowd on the dance floor. Here we are with Caia Snyder's friends+ family celebrating her 6th birthday at her home near West Chester. This really was an incredible time for all as the kids interacted + participated in everything, including the Chicken Dance, Hokey Pokey, the Limbo, + hula hoop. As well the kids loved the 4 boomers freeze dances, Taylor Swift + the Kidz Bop Music. Caia also enjoyed her 2 favorite songs, Let's Go Swimming + Snow. To end the night all the Moms joined the kids as they all danced together to Donna Summer's Last Dance. There were actually 2 stars at this party, Caia + her mom Cassandra, who danced the whole night + led the kids in everything. #

One of the specialties of the DJ Express is providing instruction in Country, Latin + Swing. Here we are leading a group in Country Line Dancing, where we do this on a regular basis at the Downingtown Country Club, the Calabrese Performing Arts Center in Kennett Square, Game Changers Pub in Bear De + at the Fred Astaire Dance Studios both in Huntingdon Valley + Collegeville, Pa.: "Incredible! We had 80 people show up tonight, 4/26, for our 1st Country Dance at the Collegeville Fred Astaire Dance Studio. It was absolutely amazing as the crowd mobbed the dance floor all night for their favorite dances + lessons. We will be back again at this location on Saturday, 5/11, 7-10. $10 Cover. It's so much fun, don't miss the next one."

Friday, 4/12, was a special day as the West Vincent Elementary School PTA sponsored A Mother-Son dance with a Country Western Theme. Wow, what a wonderful event. They asked the DJ Express to provide the entertainment as they recognized that Country was one of our specialties. We taught them a number of country line dances including the "Cotton Eyed Joe". We also led the group in a Limbo+ Hula Hoop Contest + a dance contest as each mom danced with her son. It was an incredible event + so much fun for all. A big thanks goes out to the PTA + our contact person Brittani Ruble, who did a great job of coordinating all the details with our dj.

The Woodlands at Urbana, what a party, fun loving group which has employed the DJ Express for about 10 of their events. This time, on Sat, 3/16, this 55 + over community in Frederick , MD, showed their talent as they belted out some Irish classics as they sang Karaoke for their St. Paddy's Celebration. This was our first party with a BARBIE THEME. + some of the costumes were really neat. It was at a nursing home in N. J.in March 2024. I had so much fun leading the residents in all the party dances including the YMCA, MACARENA, Shout + at the end I lead them in singing to Sweet Caroline. It's St.John's Masonic Lodge of New Castle at their Country Hoedown during their annual meeting + party on 2/24, held at Clayton Fire Hall in Clayton, De. These guys definitely came ready to party following their business meeting. The two gals holding up the T-shirts, Lisa Sabourin + Carol Wright were the ring leaders in all the fun. Their Masonic husbands were instrumental in organizing this annual event

Mardi Gras is always a great time to party, + the folks at the Woodlands in Urbana, (Frederick), MD, a 55 + over community really did the night up right. With fabulous costumes, enthusiastic dancing +their own King + Queen they had one heck of a party. The DJ Express provided the music, but it was actually the group that entertained the DJ, as they put on quite a show. Thanks to Becky Drory who coordinated all the details for the DJ. She made our job so much easier.

One of the specialties of the DJ Express is djing + instructing at Country Line Dance events, which we are hosting every Wednesday at the Downingtown Country Club as shown below: We had another awesome + enthusiastic crowd last night, 2/7, for our every Wednesday country dance at the Downingtown Country Club. Management opened up the entire grand ball room which made it perfect for line dancing in the center floor + couples dancing on the outside. The big crowd mobbed the dance floor all night + everybody is looking forward to next Wed., as the DJ will present the First 50 ladies with a red rose for Valentine's + 3 nifty dance T-shirts will be awarded to the ladies sporting the best original Valentine's outfits. $10 cover, 7-10

This was the 34th birthday party for a special young lady, Kearstin, dressed in the attire of the star of Frozen. Kearstin looked so beautiful as she was celebrated by her family + friends. Held at the Gables in Chadds Ford, on 2/4, the group loved to dance + mobbed the dance floor all night. It was a pleasure for the DJ Express to be asked back again to entertain the guests, as we had previously done Kearstin's 30th party
