About Us

Growing up my mother was extremely talented and creative. She could cook, sew, bake and had an infinite love of anything floral. She enjoyed learning new techniques and styles and using her hobby as a way to socialize and connect with her friends and neighbors. It is no surprise that I (and my sisters) took up our mother’s torch and got the creativity curse, I mean gene! What started out as something to bond with my mother and a hobby has taken off into a passion and way to connect and forge new relationships with very special people. It is my goal, through Petals & Ivy, to bring others together, even for just a few hours, to connect, bond and enjoy creating! Whether you’re taking one of our classes or we are assisting with your party décor you will notice the thought and attention to detail. Everything we create or design is born from the love of what we do and our client’s vision. One of the things that makes me happiest is when others enjoy my creations. I hope to be able to pass on a little of my knowledge so that people can create on their own, furthering the legacy of my mother.
