Seems there has been a misunderstanding of my status. I am semi-retired, not retired. This means I am taking fewer orders than before, the venue I work for comes first and need at least a two week notice for new orders. The shop phone is the only form of communication. Leave a message and I will personally take your order if available. I still do not take any orders via social media or without personal contact. Not much has changed except the amount of work I am able to handle. Contact information is: 803-955-4172, Tues.-Fri. 9-5, and Sat. 9-12. I am not a walk-in establishment as I am not always in the shop. Thank you for your interest and understanding my current situation.

2022 still showed the effects of COVID, but I was still busy enough with cakes to enjoy doing what I love and still be able to help with family obligations. Blessed to have the customers that have stuck with me all these years. Thank you for continuing to support my small business!!

Well everyone, my time has finally come. I am officially semi-retired. I currently work for a venue which keeps me pretty busy. On occasion, when the venue is on vacation, or is not busy, I am able to take on a few orders of my own. With this being said, I am not in the shop on a regular basis, as in the past, so please leave a message and I will return your call as soon as possible. I have loved my job for the past 42 years and will miss doing what I love for so many people. I wish you all well, and best wishes with your new baker/cake designer.
I will continue to keep my permits and licenses up to date according to DHEC regulations.
