ABOUT SC Indigenous Business Day Proclamation
SC Indigenous Business Day is an annual celebration organized by Mota Crosslinking Business Academy (MCBA) and her president and founder Vanessa Mota to honor and recognize the significant contributions of Indigenous business owners and community leaders in South Carolina. This unique event features a blend of culture, food, music, the readings of proclamations written by our staff for different counties and awards, creating a festive atmosphere that highlights the economic impact and achievements of the Indigenous community. The day includes the reading of proclamations by local government officials, acknowledging the importance of these businesses to the state’s economy.
