Proper Christmas Tree Care: At Moscarillo's we always recommend:

→ a fresh cut before bringing the tree into your home - After time (generally 3-6 hours), the cut stump gets air in the plant tissue, which lessens a tree's water absorption capacity - the fresh cut reopens the pores to take up water again.
→ Place the tree away from any heat sources (about 3ft away), and
→water immediately when bringing home.
→ Check the water level daily, and keep it watered! If the tree dries out, dried sap can again form over the base, causing the water retention to suffer, and the tree will need a new fresh cut.

And with that, enjoy your beautiful tree!

are you a fan of poinsettias? → Many people confuse the bracts (leaves) of a poinsettia plant with the flowers. The flowers are actually the small yellow cluster in the center of the bracts.
