Even though we no longer have a shelter, we still follow the same shelter guidelines and keep new kitties in quarantine protocols for at least 2 weeks.

After that, the foster(s) can decide if they feel comfortable letting their charges out of cages to explore a little bit. Mana Annie's foster did that and when they went back in the room to check on everybody, the babies were no longer in their kitten box.

Annie had decided an expensive basket was a better kitten bed for HER babies. Mama knows quality.

Babies are 2 1/2 weeks old , doing terrific, and have been named. Gray girls are Opal and Pearl, Calico is Zara. Orange boy is Archie and the Gray boy is Rudy.
