Purdue Black Graduate Student Association Alumni Club The BGSA Alumni Club's purpose is to serve BGSA/Purdue Alumni & friends & cultivate activities that build relationships with each other & Purdue University

Resurrected in 1999, the Black Graduate Student Association is a non-profit student organization committed to the unification of its members through the facilitation of programs that strengthen the community of African American graduate and professional students across disciplines. The objectives are:

1. encourage scholarly and professional attitudes and performance among Black graduate students;



2. promote participation in advanced study for Black graduate students;

3. provide an open platform for the discussion of grievances, issues, etc., of direct concern to Black graduate students; and

4. provide a professional and social opportunity for networking among Black graduate students at Purdue University.
