History:
Even before the Union was built, the Student Union Board was an active organization dedicated to serving the Purdue student body and assisted with the funding to build the Purdue Memorial Union. In 1920 the first Student Union Board consisted of five students, today there are over 100 members. As a department of the Purdue Memorial Union as well as a recognized Purdue University student

organization, PSUB has provided Purdue students, faculty, staff, and the Greater Lafayette community with programs and services for over 80 years.

🚨 EVENT RECAP: On November 17th, PSUB waddled over to Krach Leadership Center to host Waddle Into Winter! Attendees enjoyed music, cotton candy, popcorn, Traveling Tom’s Hot Chocolate, snow globe making, an inflatable snow globe photo opportunity, and a gingerbread house competition to help celebrate the winter season. 3 students were selected for their creative gingerbread houses and received a Jellycat stuffed animal, weighted blanket, and holiday Lego set as prizes! Thank you to all of our attendees- we loved seeing your creative gingerbread houses, hope you all had a great time!

We will be showing The Barbie movie along with several activities including trivia, best dressed competition, lip sync battle, crafts, and more! The final part of Diverse TV series is finally happening! Come join us at Purdue’s Black Culture Center formal lounge on November 27 at 7pm. Together we will be watching the hit show Abbott Elementary and having a conversation that will be led by Juanita Crider. Juanita is currently a program advisor at the BCC, who specializes in black feminist literature, film, and visual culture. So come by and eat some snacks, share your thoughts with us and win some prizes!

Myron Reed is an international professional wrestler that's a current TNA Superstar and a former three-time MLW World Middleweight Champion! He will be competing at PSUB’s Really Real Wrestling tonight at 5pm!

Here comes Hornswoggle! The former WWE Champion is one of over 20 professional wrestlers that will be competing in PSUB's Really Real Wrestling event at the Armory this Saturday from 5:00pm-8:00pm. The south entrance doors will open at 4:00 for attendees for an autograph and photo session with the wrestlers! Visit for more information on the wrestlers coming this Saturday!

🚨EVENT RECAP: On November 12th, PSUB hosted Tea and Pottery. Over 300 attendees enjoyed evening tea, finger foods, music, and pottery painting at this event in the PMU South Ballroom. Students selected their own pottery pieces, glaze colors, brushes, and stencils to bring their design ideas to life! Thank you to all who attended, and a special thank you to for helping PSUB with this fantastic event!

Attention Boilermakers… GET READY TO RUMBLLLEEE!!! On November 18th PSUB presents its first ever professional wrestling event featuring talent from Black Label Pro Wrestling including a surprise former star to be announced next week!

Join us in the armory from 5:00-8:00 to see a show unlike anything Purdue has seen! Doors open at 4:00 for autographs and meeting the wrestlers.

This session will take place on Wednesday, November 15th from 6:30-8:30pm in the CoRec MP2 (located on the basement level). Light refreshments will be provided, and no dance experience is required. 🚨EVENT RECAP: On October 28th, PSUB hosted Hallofun on Slayter Hill. Attendees were able to pick and paint pumpkins, decorate tote bags, make jewelry, decorate costumes, and more! We hope you enjoyed this event- and the free snacks including cotton candy too!

🚨 EVENT RECAP: On October 23rd, PSUB hosted the S*x Education Week Resource Fair on Memorial Mall. Thank you to , IU Health, CARE, Women of Color in Healthcare Association, the LGBTQ+ Center, and the CoRec Wellness Center for providing general health and s*x education resources for students. Attendees were able to ask questions, learn about resources, receive free wellness items, and enjoy free coffee and yard games! To continue this week’s events, PSUB will host S*x Signals on the 25th from 7-9pm, and Speaker Eva Bloom at Fowler Hall from 7-9pm on the 26th! Check out our Instagram posts for more information!

To close out our S*x Education Week we are hosting Eva Bloom, a non-binary q***r s*x education speaker. On October 26 from 7 - 9 pm at Fowler Hall, join us to listen and learn about ALL different types of relationships and how to stay safe by acknowledging consent and safety precautions. Eva Bloom makes sure to include all genders and s*xualities when speaking on education and aims to make it a warm and interactive environment. So come join us for this amazing event and we hope to see you there!

For the second year in a row PSUB is bringing back their s*x education week! To kick it off PSUB is hosting the S*x Education Week Fair on October 23 at Memorial mall. Attendees can expect organizations such as CAPS, LGBTQ+ Center, IU Health, Women of Color in Healthcare, and so many more! Not to mention food trucks to help cure empty stomachs. So come stop by the Memorial Mall from 11 am - 2 pm to check out clubs, organizations, and resources that can help educate you and assist with your current and future health!

Leading the discussion is the LGBTQ+ Center Director Lowell Kane, an advocate and leader for the community. You can join us at the LGBTQ+ Center, located in Hicks Library in room G988, from 7 - 9 pm. Let’s do the time warp again! PSUB is hosting its annual showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show on Saturday, October 14th from 9pm to 12am in the North Ballroom. Activities will include photo booths, games, trivia, and a costume contest. Stay tuned on our Instagram for the VIP sign-up for the first 50 students to guarantee a survival kit and front row seating. 150 additional survival kits will be reserved for general admission, so be sure to arrive early! Doors open at 8:30pm for VIP and 8:45pm for GA. This event is free and only open to Purdue students.

PSUB is pleased to present Purdue’s poets at Poetry Slam this semester! It will be in the North Ballroom of the PMU on October 13th and will be happening from 7-9pm. There will be a competitive section for poetry readings with prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place! Free food and drinks as well!

PSUB is bringing back its Diverse TV Series events! On September 18 at 7 pm, come by the West Faculty Lounge in the Union and join us for our first of three TV events. We will be watching an episode of the popular TV series, Mixed-ish, a show that speaks on the experiences of a mixed race family in the 80’s. Diverse TV provides an opportunity to speak on important social topics that the show presents, guiding this conversation will be Dr. Annabelle Atkin. Dr. Atkin’s does research over diversity, culture, discrimination and so much more. She is excited to join us alongside the Multiracial and Transracial Adoptee Club (MAC). Which is a committee who offers a space to learn about biracial/multiracial identity, discrimination, and equality. So come stop by Diverse TV in your comfy clothes and enjoy some snacks and good conversation! We hope to see you all there!
