Start a family tradition or come by yourself to West Linn’s historic McLean House for “Home for the Holidays” on Saturday, Nov. 24. With music, Santa waiting for Mom or Dad to snap a photo as a child climbs into his lap, tea and wine tasting, alpaca petting (weather permitting), Holiday shopping, and even a mini photo shoot with a professional photographer (by appointment), it’s a great way to finish your Holiday shopping. The first 100 families will carry home a swag bag of coupons and other goodies as well. This is an unusual opportunity to visit the historic home of one of Clackamas County’s most famous doctors, Edward McLean and his wife Anne. Usually closed except by appointment, you can roam through its beautifully decorated rooms and garden, lovingly restored by The Friends of the McLean Park and House. Join the Friends and the West Linn Chamber of Commerce to celebrate National Small Business Saturday and support West Linn’s local businesses. Shuttle service will be available from the West Linn High School parking lot. For more information, visit http://westlinnchamber.org/.
