Shore Running Experience After more than a dozen years as a running camp at Monmouth University, we now provide first-class support to area races & fitness events.

Upcoming 2024 events: the Big Bang Mile (7/13); the Sheehan Classic 5K (8/10); the Monmouth Mile (8/29); the 9/11 Memorial 5K in Middletown (9/7); and the Jersey Shore Half Marathon and 2 Mile (9/29).

We will be providing support for 4 weeknight evening indoor track meets at Monmouth University this winter. These meets are open to all ages and abilities, with registration via MileSplit closing 2 days before each meet.

The meet dates are:

1) Tues. December 10 (registration open now);
2) Tuesday January 28
3) Wednesday February 19
4) Tuesday March 4

Each meet will include 3 field events and 5-6 track events.

And they’re off! Monmouth University hosted the 25th Annual Henry Mercer Invitational at Holmdel Park today, with plenty of counselors and campers getting in some great early season racing.

Happy holidays from your favorite distance running camp! Please help spread the word... the 2019 Shore Running Experience Camp at Monmouth University will be July 29 to August 2. Special plans, including another pro mile race, are in the works.
