Hey Educators, Friends and Artists!

The Rialto Arts Center will be looking to bring artists and educators in to use the building for workshops this summer!! If you want to host a week long camp, evening workshop, occasional meet up or pretty much anything you can think of, please let myself or Emery know! We can even host meetings for businesses, evening socials, parties and more!

We will have all package pricing worked out soon! The Rialto is big enough to allow for social distancing and is we want to start filling it with creativity!

Theater, dance, music, arts, science writing, yoga or anything else you can think of! Adults, seniors and kids classes, workshops and camps!!!

The Rialto will be showing ALL of the Heron designs including the chosen Herons! Herons on the Bayou

Mad Artist Laboratory is underway! Today we married science and art by engineering cardboard sculptures, painting with kinetic energy, witnessing capillary action with chromatography, and using chemical reactions to make colorful background papers! So much mess...so much fun!

So much fun creating Earth inspired art today! We made leaf prints using real leaves, happy planet canvas suspended from sticks, and beetles using recycled materials.

Part two of Be Bold has come to a close! We learned about Keith Haring and Picasso today and made some really awesome masks (but not the kind everyone is already sick of!) These girls did such a great job! Next week is Earthy Art workshop. Who wants in?

Tie dye rinse out time! The kids in yesterday’s workshop created these awesome designs! We can’t wait to get them back to the artists who made them tomorrow. Remember we are still taking sign ups for the next two weeks of workshops!
