When planning an event you have to do the homework.

Making sure if you’re out of town or out of state you reach out to that local hotel and ask them or tell them what you’re thinking about doing . Why because you may be thinking of using a stage in that stage is not their typical stage or everyday stage so you will need to know what their policies are.

Also having a detail floor plan, assigned for all vendors, making sure that you are aware of measurements and how big the ballroom is before renting furniture. This will save time and energy. Also save money that can be placed in other areas and reassuring the client that you know your job.
