Last July in Sister Lakes, Michigan right off the back of the boat at the lake cottage.

Most evenings after dinner, once the lake starts to quiet down again, we take the boat out for one last run. It’s the perfect time for riding and a pretty good way to end the day on the water.

Anyone else grow up spending summers on a lake like this?

Our friends live in Cudjoe Key in the Lower Keys, and this little island means a lot to their family.

We took the boat out before sunset so the kids could run around and play while being themselves.

Some of the best family photos happen in places that already hold so many memories.

Fall in Washington always feels unreal.

We drove up to Artist Point with Corey and Jenna and spent the afternoon wandering around Mount Baker. In the winter this whole area becomes one of the snowiest ski spots in the country, but the rest of the year it’s all hiking trails and wild views like this.

Washington really is one of the most beautiful destinations.

If you’ve been to The Breakers, where’s your favorite spot to take photos?

The Breakers was first built in 1896, when Henry Morrison Flagler expanded his railroad down Florida’s east coast and opened a resort in Palm Beach for travelers escaping northern winters.

Two fires destroyed the earlier hotels before the version we see today was rebuilt.

A lot of people have memories here, I even have photos of myself here as a baby. I still end up spending part of my summers here.
