Photography for me started my sophomore year of high school. I was told that I could not take any more gym credits and needed some fine arts.

That lead me to signing up for level 1 photography where I bought my first DSLR camera. I started off going to the beach early in the morning (because who doesn’t love sunsets?) I ended up getting an A in that class and becoming the teacher’s favorite student. The very next year, I jumped up to a college level photography class and really learned Photoshop. I quickly found a new love and passion f

or taking pictures and sharing them with others. I started taking photos of the football team and even got a free yearbook pass for all school events (I wasn’t even part of yearbook club.) I have always been a person that pays close attention to detail and notices things that my friends would generally look over. I had a friend who was starting his own video company and he asked me to be his photographer. At the age of 16, I decided to take the challenge and have been so thankful for that decision. Little did I know, that I would fall in love with being a wedding photographer and sharing such beautiful memories with so many couples. From then to now, I have dedicated many sleepless nights to improving my skills and defining my style. I got my first professional camera a couple years later and that’s when I found what I wanted to do in life. After spending countless hours on Instagram scrolling through wedding pictures, I set goals for myself. Thankfully, I have come so far from where I started and reached those goals. I continue to learn and set even higher goals for myself. I believe that we never stop learning in life. I am thankful for the friends who have modeled for me so that I can improve my skills. Fast forwarding to today, I now have a great team and mentors that I count on as a wedding photographer. I have defined my style as a film-like light and airy look. My favorite type of shots are the un-posed natural expressions that are crisp and elegant. I believe in the power of photos and the emotions that are captured in every shot. My wish is for my brides to be able to re-live and re-enjoy their wedding day with their families and have a quality album that their children will enjoy. I would love to sit with you and your fiancé over some coffee to plan out your most important day. I hope to hear from you soon and congratulations on your engagement.

Let me start by saying that I have the best job in the world. Every morning as I am preparing my equipment for the day, I get this rush of happiness and expectancy for all the great memories I am about to capture. I truly believe there is magic and an unexplainable joy that happens during every ceremony. I am beyond blessed to do what I love as a full time career and meet so many incredible people.
