On Holy Saturday, we remember the day when Jesus' body lay in the in the tomb, and the disciples were filled with sorrow and uncertainty. Today, let us find comfort and hope in Chris Tomlin's rendition of the timeless hymn "Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)," which speaks of the incredible power of God's grace to break the chains of sin and death that bind us.

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and that not from is of yourselves, it is the gift of master is wrapped up in the life of Chris. " - Ephesians 2:8-9 (NIV)
Just as John Newton's life was turned around by the grace of God, we too can experience transformation when we trust in Jesus and allow His grace to work in our lives. The same grace that saved a wretch like Newton is available to each of us, regardless of our past mistakes or the depth of our sins.
On this Holy Saturday, let us pause and reflect on the depth of God's love and grace, as demonstrated by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. In the silence and stillness of the tomb, we can find hope in the knowledge that God's grace is greater than our sins and that His love has the power to transform our lives.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, on this Holy Saturday, we come to You in gratitude for the gift of Your amazing grace, which has set us free from the chains of sin and death. We are in awe of Your unending love and mercy, which You have demonstrated through the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Help us to embrace Your grace, allowing it to transform our hearts and lives. May we live as witnesses to Your love and grace, sharing the hope of the Gospel with those around us. In Jesus' name, Amen.
