It has been a wonderful summer filled with beautiful flowers! This will be our last weekend at ! We have six $15 dollar bouquets filled with everything from dahlias, to zinnias, to sunflowers, and more 😊 fresh eggs going for 18/$6 as well. Trials make us stronger! And sometimes filling our life with the easy pretty things will ultimately make us weak. This is a lesson that is constantly taught to me in the garden. We are anxiously waiting for our dahlias to grow and give us beautiful blooms. Sometimes that requires us to cut out some of the other flowers so they get all the light they need. When I find a dahlia that has been covered up it is usually very small and weak looking. The dahlias that have been exposed to the wind and harsh sun are big and strong. It’s a good reminder to me to not be afraid to remove some of the beautiful good things in my life that may be blocking the way for something more important.
