We’ve begun planning for the 2025 Fiber Festival of New England and are now accepting workshop proposals! To be considered to host a workshop, all proposals need to be received no later than February 3rd, 2025. The application is available online here: https://form.jotform.com/92964216461158. You may submit it online, email it to [email protected], or mail it to “The Fiber Festival of New England, 1305 Memorial Avenue West Springfield, MA 01089”. This weekend's forecast for The Fiber Festival of New England looks like lovely, but it won't matter once you're inside the Mallary Complex! Everything is under one enormous roof, with a solid concrete floor that makes it easy to move around with strollers, scooters, even your little red wagon if you choose to bring one. We will be waiting for you, along with more than 150 vendors!

Need directions to The Fiber Festival of New England? Click below! Gate 9 is the best entrance to reach the Mallary Complex this weekend. The gate will open an hour prior to the start of the Festival (Saturday 9-5, Sunday 9-3). Parking is $5 per day, and our parking lot attendants will be happy to help you.

While you're at Eastern States Exposition for The Fiber Festival of New England this weekend, take advantage of everything the fairgrounds has to offer! Enjoy History on the Go at Storrowton Village Museum, including blacksmithing demonstrations on Saturday, 10-4 -- take the Roving Railroad from the Fiber Festival, see all the sights and visit the Christmas Shop. Stop in at the Eastern States Farmers Market just outside the Mallary Complex for even more shopping, plus free wine tasting. In addition, the TSASA Octoberfest Horse Show will be underway in the Coliseum. It's a full weekend of activities!

Join us for History On The Go: Western Mass Women’s History Trail on November 2nd from 10:00 AM-4:00 PM. The Women of Western Mass History Trail will feature the history of the influential women across West Springfield and Agawam. Your stops on the tour include Josiah Day House, Storrowton Village Museum, ESE Museum, Thomas Smith House, and Captain Charles Leonard House. Take a break from your journey between museums to see some blacksmith demonstrations, as well as open hearth cooking and more!
