The word “Journey” focuses on the process of getting there, not on the arrival. A journey implies changes, transitions, challenges and adventures. Eventually the journey calls us to come home again but with new awareness. We may not even travel past our own neighborhood, but by seeing our experiences with new eyes we can find ourselves and the Divine in new ways. We return with the gifts our journey offered.

This workshop will use a creative method-SoulCollage®. It is an easy, enjoyable, intuitive process for self-discovery, self-acceptance, and personal empowerment. Sister Su-Hsin Huang, SP is a certified SoulCollage® facilitator. No art skill is required … you need only know how to use scissors!

They cook from scratch using the freshest ingredients sourced from local growers whenever possible. Adult price is $19.50 plus tax and includes all-you-can-eat breakfast favorites, homestyle lunch dishes, homemade desserts and non-alcoholic beverages. There is also a discount for seniors and children ages 5-11. (Children 4 and under eat FREE.)

Words, words, noise, more words, more noise! It seems we’re living in a time of being flooded with words and noises. Even the online game of WORDLE has become a craze for many! Do you seek the still, quiet voice of God? This Centering Prayer Workshop will help us to understand more deeply the presence of God within each of us, our intimate relationship with that presence, and the deepening of that relationship. If you want to learn more about this practice, join us. If you think you just can’t be still, join us. If you’re a “pro” in this type of prayer, please join us and share your experiences. If you think this kind of prayer is only for “mystical types,” join us … you may be surprised! Following the workshop, you are invited to join in Taizé prayer.

A light supper is available prior to the service.
