Why the goal is to politically destroy the Tavern League? Then we can have common sense cannabis reform and be able to drink while tailgating at Lambeau Field, in a rented cabin Up North or a hotel on Lake Michigan or Lake Superior. We will be able to have our own Wedding Parties, Political Rallies and Charitable Event Fundraisers. We will be more free. Right now, there are 49 other states more free than Wisconsin. That needs to change and the TLW stands in our way. We need to get this done over the next 4 years.

Why should we decriminalize cannabis?
Reduce harm!

The criminalization of cannabis use disproportionately harms young people and indigenous people, leads to massive levels of violence and corruption, and fails to curb youth access.

Create jobs!

Decriminalization of CannaBiz will create jobs and economic opportunities in the formal economy instead of the illicit black market.

Save money!

Scarce law enforcement resources will be better used to ensure public safety while reducing corrections and court costs. Governments would acquire significant new sources of revenue as the local economy grows, expands and prospers.

Promote consumer safety!

Cannabis product testing is becoming a standard requirement for legalized cannabis markets. This means consumers are better informed about the cannabis they use.

It is medicine! Period!!

I was asked a question: What is the law today?

My response:

Everything is illegal. I can’t even rent out my Lake Noble Lodge. I was denied a permit by the Health Department and threatened with the Taylor County DA. I was told by the Port Edwards Police Chief I needed to be a licensed Pharmacist and have my building licensed as a Pharmacy to sell CBD. I had a Portage County Deputy reach into my truck and turn my radio off. I had the Wood County Health Department tell me I needed to have 1 million a year in sales in my CBD Boutique to be able to sell hot pizza that could be eaten in the store. That led to a search warrant that was exercised against my will (with my not being there) by the Wood County Sheriff’s Department. They shredded the place to pieces. I left it that way until the village finally bought the 3 buildings downtown from me.
