It’s white with a black center,” they’ll say—and I know immediately they’re talking about anemones. I love when working with brides they begin to describe the flowers they adore, but are unsure of the name. It’s a tiny challenge that I relish.

For Cristina’s bouquet, the anemones were paired with textured orange dahlias, airy yellow of butterfly ranunculus, fragrant garden roses, and lush greenery. Together, these elements created a palette that felt both vibrant and fun.

Set against the serene backdrop of Buttermilk Falls in Millerton, New York, the bouquet’s colors came to life in the natural light of a perfect September day.

How many of you like roses? I’d say about 35% of our inquiries mention, ‘I don’t like roses.’ Most think of them as outdated—like scrunchies from the ‘80s. But here’s the thing: scrunchies made a comeback because they were reimagined. They weren’t paired with 10 pounds of hairspray and sky-high bangs anymore. They became modern, versatile, and stylish.

Now, imagine a purple rose paired with the rich warmth of an orange tulip, a local peach ranunculus, or even something unexpected like a sprig of herbs. It’s all about context. A rose on its own might feel like a relic, but when it’s thoughtfully styled, it transforms into something fresh and stunning. The rose deserves a comeback, too—when we see it not as a cliché, but as a canvas for creativity.

Ok, I’m calling it: The long skinny scarf is the look for 2025. Why? Because I saw it twice in 2024, worn by two of our brides—both ahead of the curve and setting the tone for what’s to come this year. Refined, fashion-forward, bold yet undeniably graceful.

A long-stemmed white calla lily bouquet wrapped in layers of fine baby blue silk ribbons inspired by Chloë Sevigny’s iconic bridal style. From the moment I met Lauren, I knew she was a risk-taker—just like Chloë dripping in New York cool and it-girl status. Sashay, shantay.

Do you know what’s in this bouquet that you can’t see? Tradition. Symbolism. And a bond across generations.

When Sami envisioned her wedding bouquet, it wasn’t just about the flowers—it was about telling her story. She wanted to honor her mother and mother-in-law by incorporating certain stems from their wedding bouquets. These flowers carried meaning, history, and love, connecting the past to her future.

Personalized floral design is about moments like this—going beyond aesthetics to create something truly meaningful. It’s about listening to your story, understanding what matters to you, and weaving those details into each stem.

My own mother had a wild combination of lilies, gardenia, baby’s breath, roses and iris. I would most likely incorporate the iris or gardenia. And whatever Tom Hardy’s mom had in her bouquet.
