Hi! 👋 I’m Molly, the face behind Molly’s Market Party Rentals & I thought it might be time to share a little more about myself!
Diet Coke is permanently attached to my hand, I’m a night owl to a fault, I love Jesus and I think that golden retrievers are one of God’s most incredible creations. I grew up in Kentucky with a country girl spirit and 90s freedom. “Molly’s Bows” was my first entrepreneurial endeavor in 4th grade to pay for my horseback riding suits. I pursued pharmacy in college & went on to complete a residency in critical care. I worked in the ICU for 9 years & was a part of many people’s worst days. I urned to flip that script & see the good days in people’s lives.
In 2021 I came across a marketplace ad for a pallet of Amazon returns & the next day I drove to a mysterious industrial park. I packed every inch of my car & handed the guy $250. That $250 is the only investment made into Molly’s Market. At night I would test products, photograph & post on marketplace. I noticed frequent buyers so I started a chat titled “Molly’s Market”. That chat grew to over 40 of some of my closest friends.
Although I truly enjoyed this, I always knew that hosting events was my passion, but 2021 wasn’t a time to launch a rental business. I started to collect tables & chairs with the money from the pallets. As the world opened back up, I launched “Molly’s Market Party Rentals” in Jan of 2023 offering 36 chairs, 6 tables & two 10 x 20 tents & a cotton candy, popcorn & snow cone machine. Every dollar was reinvested into inventory for the next 2 years to grow the rental offerings to where they are today.
I’ve been married almost 10 years to an amazing man who supports my wild ideas & is my volun-told employee of the year. We have four kids who we adopted from foster care and two golden retrievers, all of which keep us on our toes & laughing.
