Black Friday: The Second Try!

We will be featuring sales all day! All your favorite themes-Santas, Snowmen, Angels, Baby’s First, and more 🎅☃️👼 Our street department was hard at work yesterday, removing even more snow from all over town. The taller-than-me snowbanks are mostly all removed from Main Street, most of the interior main roads are clear to the asphalt, sidewalks are getting more and more open by the minute all over (our town is so little, I can currently hear the machinery in the distance). This second snowpocalypse seems to have been slightly overhyped, so come on out! Can’t wait to see you 💙

Friends I have to say that was NOT a wonderful forced vacation at all! The cabin fever was STRONG! I'm gonna hope we're mostly through the worst of the worst, and the rest of the winter will only feature lovely, pretty, easy-to-manage, snowglobe style snowflakes. We are back in action here at Blue June, the roads are mostly passable, the sidewalks on Main Street have been cleared, snow removal continues to be managed by our Street Department, and life goes on in Western New York.

With the loss of Small Business Saturday in our area, it is so important now more than ever to support your local businesses. Here at BJB from now until Christmas, there will be weekend sales, featured ornaments, more social media engagement and show-off time, later hours on most days, more Sundays and Mondays open, and lots of pretty and cheerful things for you and yours. We've opened today for just a little while, only to abate the cabin fever setting in after the last two days off and answer any calls from out-of-towners. But please don't risk your life trying to get flowers or Christmas ornaments today, folks. If the weather clears at all tomorrow, we will do our own little "Small Business Sunday" with a few awesome steals and deals! And we will of course be open every weekend until the big day, weather permitting. Don't forget you can always call (or message if no one answers the calls) for flowers, plants, gifts, and more. Stay safe and warm out there, and stay home if you can. For anyone wondering: it looks like all major roads surrounding us are either closed or in a total mess, standstill, or are leaving travelers stranded.

There were fun things planned for this Black Friday, but the weather decided to white us out instead! The Flowermobile couldn’t even make it out of the driveway ❄️🚗❄️ If the weather clears up later, we may save the day, but a higher power seems to be saying “take a break anyway” instead. Will keep you posted!

Vendors will be at Eason Hall, several businesses on Main Street will be open, and the Holly Tour will be kicking off at 12:30.
