I think most of you know that besides scrapbooking, I'm also a quilter.

I went on a scrapbook cruise in March and now I'm headed to a quilt retreat that teaches a special style of quilting.

I'll be sharing a couple of posts about my adventures for the next week... starting with pictures from a quilt store we stopped at along the way.

I was trying to take a picture with the store sign not realizing I was in front of a cop car with a cop in it and it looked like I was trying to take a selfie with him 🤣

Val... what overwhelmed you about the class? So...100% on me. I've never taken a VB class and second, she told us what we needed and what to do in the prep class and....I did not take it seriously. And you really really need to do the prep. EXACTLY LIKE SHE TELLS YOU. Again this is probably obvious to a lot of you! Did I mention yet that my brain is different? 🤣 Workout the proper prep you will struggle. She knows her sh*t. So if you are doing a class or cruise with VB, do the prep work and be prepared for more prep work when you get there. I'm going to try and find a picture of her system.

What's your favorite pen for journaling? Is it a scrapbook brand or just a regular pen?
