Good evening friends, family and supporters of Farm & Flame. I thought it appropriate to reach out to our amazing group of foodie fans and update you on our families and company status.
As many of you are already aware, Farm & Flame has not been operating for quite some time. When the COVID lockdown first was announced back in March of 2020, it was a shock to all of us. My family experienced the personal loss of my grandmother and I’m sure many of you have similar stories. I hope everyone one is safe, healthy, and has someone close to them to lean on in these tough times. Our business also experienced a critical loss of scheduled private events that were no longer permitted to take place. This elimination of consistent revenue was a blow that our company could not recover from.
It has been many months already, but I do want to officially announce that Farm & Flame is no longer in business. Maybe some day we will see it rise from the ashes of the “smoker” and bring our delicious smokehouse fusion back to hungry people.
My wife Sunni and I have moved back to our home town of San Antonio, TX and are exploring new adventures in the culinary industry as well as other creative interests. Heather is a permanent part of Southern California and her home town of Malibu is where her and her amazing Spouse Kellye have raised their incredible kids and is likely where they will be for ever. I don’t blame you Heather, it’s an awesome place to wake up each morning. Is been a tough year, but with the family we have around us, we are still blessed.
To the amazing talented people that we were honored to work next to, I thank you for your friendship, your expertise, and your dedication and work ethic. I will always cherish the relationships I made working with each of you on the food truck. And my apologies for my crazy mood swings. 🥸
We want to say thank you to everyone that supported us and let you know just how special you all are. Getting to know so many of you on a personal level is something we will cherish and always remember. The last 5+ years have been the hardest we have ever worked and also the most rewarding. This page will still stay active and we hope to keep in touch with as many as we can. Luckily we have family to visit, so hopefully we will see you again.
Until then, I hope every day is a little better than the last.
Oh and don’t forget to support your local food artists. There are some amazing food trucks out there and they need your support. For those looking for some of Farm & Flame’s signature smokehouse items, reach out to Heather. She was the 2nd generation pit master that trained the 3rd generation who ran our smoker. She just may have something on the rack.
